Prjónastokkur / Knitting needle box

Protected with 100% organic linseed oil varnish from feelwoodfurniture, each box is made from a single piece of FSC-certified oak, which makes it unique in color and wood grain.

Blending modern technology and traditional craft, the boxes are pre-fabricated using CNC in Germany and carefully finished by hand in Iceland.

Using the unique icelandic script - höfðaletur, each Prjónastokkur is decorated with the greeting: "Hér sé friður og með yður" (May peace be here and within you) a greeting our grandfather often spoke when visiting people's home.

Additionally engraved on the lid is the word "síðan" (since) alongside the year of production.
